Putin to speak at offline session of Eastern Economic Forum
MOSCOW, Aug 26 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in an offline plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum that will take place in Vladivostok from September 2 through September 4, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.
“I confirm that the president will take part in the Eastern Economic Forum. He will participate in an offline plenary meeting,” he said.
Peskov added that the forum will be partially held online.
He also said that Putin will begin his visit to Russia’s Far East on September 1 and that the president will chair a meeting devoted to the social and economic development of the region among other plans.
